How do I add an extension number to a
contact number?
You can add an extension number to a phone number that you've
saved for a contact so you don't have to dial the extension number
every time you call.
1. On the Start screen, tap the People tile.
2. In the contacts list, tap the contact whose information you
want to change.
3. Tap .
4. If this is a linked contact (someone with multiple accounts
that show up as one entry in your contacts list), tap the
account that has the number you want to edit.
5. Select a number you want to add an extension number to.
6. At the end of the number, press and hold , and then tap
.
