2. Tap an entry to display the message.
3. Tap > Delete emergency alert > Delete.
To delete all Emergency Alerts:
1. From the Home screen, tap > Emergency Alerts.
2. Tap > Delete emergency alerts > Delete.
Sound Settings
The Sound settings menu lets you control your phone’s audio, from ringtones and alerts to tap
tones and notifications.
Volumes
Configure your phone’s volume settings.
1. From the Home screen, tap > Settings > Sound > Volumes.
2. Use the sliders to set the volume level for Music, video, games, & other media,
Ringtone & notifications, or Alarms.
3. Tap OK to save your settings.
Tip: You can adjust the ringtone volume in standby mode (or the hearing volume during a
call) using the volume key on the left side of your phone.
Phone Ringtone
Assign a ringtone to your incoming calls.
1. From the Home screen, tap > Settings > Sound > Phone ringtone.
2. Tap a ringtone from the available list. The ringtone briefly plays when selected.

Tap Add and select a sound data.
3. Tap OK to assign the ringtone.
To buy ringtones:
1. From the Home screen, tap > Settings > Sound > Phone ringtone.
2. Tap Buy Ringtone. The Verizon Tones screen opens.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions.
