Copy/Delete local files from your PC
The unit supports Samba server function which shares your local storage space with a client PC
over the network. For PC with a Windows OS installed it is known as My Network Places.
To access your unit, type in the IP address of your unit (which you can find by checking in ‘Setup’)
onto the address bar of the file manager on the remote PC and press the enter key to continue. The
default user name and password to login are both “admin”.
The following example is an alternative way based on the Microsoft Windows XP platform.
Please note that when both eSATA HDD and USB disks exist, the eSATA device will be the sole
storage device in this instance
