• In order to get the most out of your
battery pack, it is highly
recommended that the packs not
remain in the charger for more than
3 hours. So once fully-charged
(indicated by the green charger light
illuminating), it is best to remove the
battery pack at or near that point.
• Do not use an extension cord with
the charger unless absolutely
necessary. Use of an improper
extension cord could result in a risk of
fire and electric shock. If an extension
cord must be used, make sure:
– That the size of the cord is at least as
specified in the chart titled
“Minimum Wire Size (AWG) of
Extension Cord for Battery Charger”.
– That the pins on the extension
cord plug are the same number,
size, and shape as those of the
plug on the tool.
– That the extension cord is in
good electrical condition.
– That if the extension cord is used
outdoors, it is marked with the
suffix “W-A” or “W” following
the cord type designation. These
suffixes indicate that the cord is
acceptable for outdoor use.(Ex.
SJTW-A).
Maintenance
Cleaning
Before any cleaning, remove the
battery pack so that there is no danger
of accidental starting.
Clean out dust and debris from vents
and electrical contacts by blowing the
tool with compressed air. Keep tool
handles clean, dry and free of oil or
grease. Use only mild soap and a damp
cloth to clean the tool, keeping away
from all electrical contacts.
Certain cleaning agents and solvents
are harmful to plastics and other
insulated parts. Some of these included
gasoline, turpentine, lacquer thinner,
paint thinner, chlorinated cleaning
solvents, ammonia and household
detergents containing ammonia.
Never used flammable or combustible
solvents around tools.
Failure to Start
Should your tool fail to start, make
sure the battery pack is charged and
installed in the drill.
Battery Service
The battery pack supplied with this tool
will self-discharge and lose some of its
capacity over time. Therefore, if it is
stored unused for a long period of time,
then it may require recharging before
use. In order to get the most out of your
batteries, it is recommended that the
pack be recharged every 2-3 months and
when doing so, remove the pack from
the charger after 2-3 hours of charging.
Service
Tool
service
must be performed only by qualified
repair personnel and by an AUTHORIZED
SERVICE CENTER. Service or
maintenance performed by unqualified
personnel could result in a risk of injury.

a) Manténgase alerta, preste

4) USO Y CUIDADO DE LA
