5.2 Loading the Rifle (ready to fire)
Procedure:
1. Lock the Rifle (see section 6.2).
2. Insert the bolt (see section 5.6.3).
3. Unlock the Rifle (see section 6.1).
4. Open the bolt and pull it back to the stop.
5. Fill the magazine (see section 5.7.3).
Note: If the full load capacity of the Rifle is to be used, chamber a round and close the bolt prior to inserting the
magazine. Only now insert a full magazine.
6. Insert the magazine (see section 5.7.2).
7. Push the bolt forward and lock.
8. Lock the Rifle (see section 6.2). The Rifle is loaded and ready to fire.

WARNING – FIRING
Keep face and hands away from bolt while firing. Hot brass when ejected
can burn you. The Rifle should be fired from the shoulder. Always wear
shooting glasses and hearing protection.
