TO DISASSEMBLE
7.0 Field Strip Disassembly
1. Unload rifle (see section 5.0) – visually and physically check to
ensure the rifle is clear of all ammunition;
2. Ensure the bolt is forward;
3. Retract the takedown pin (rear pin) – this pin is captured and
does not fully remove;
4. Remove the pivot pin (forward pin): unscrew the pivot pin screw
(left side) and remove the pivot pin from the trigger casing;
5. Separate the trigger casing from the receiver;
