Device Name / Model Number
The Model Number is the BACnet® device name automatically assigned when using the current BACnet®
addressing scheme based on the MAC address. The network can update and change the device BACnet® name. If changed, the new
updated BACnet® device name shows on the screen.
For example, when a VT8600U5500B thermostat with a MAC address of 41 is connected to a network, its default Device Name is
VT8600U5x00B-41 and its default BACnet Device ID is 83041.
