The unit turns on automatically.
Ensure TIMER REC indicator is off. When TIMER
REC indicator lights on, press POWER button to
turn on.
Press SPEED button on the remote control repeat­
edly until the desired recording speed is dis­
played. (Example: SP)
To skip some material while you are recording;
Press PAUSE /STILL button on the remote control.
Notes:
♦ If the TV/VCR is left in the Pause/Still mode
more than 5 minutes in the Recording mode. It
will automatically switch to the Recording
mode. When in the Pause/Still mode, a display
showing 5 marks will appear on the screen.
Each mark represents one minute of Pause
time. You may refer to this display for remain­
ing pause time available.
♦ If "CAPTION MODE" is selected from the
"CLOSED CAPTION SET UP" menu. On
Screen Display will appear for 5 seconds, then
disappear. If you want to check the remaining
pause time availability by On Screen Display,
press SELECT button. On Screen Display will
appear for 5 seconds.
