Using remote controller
Controlling an Onkyo CD player
The HI connector of Che Onkyo compact disc player must be
connected to the TX-SR701/70iE/601/601E (see page 24).
1. Press the CD MODE button.
The CD MODE button lights.
2. Press the desired operation button.
The buttons shaded in the figure to the left are Che operation
buttons that can be used to control an Onkyo compact disc
player.
Operation buttons:
ON: Turns on and off Che compact disc player (same as STANDBY
button on the remote contioller)
DISC -!i-: Selects a disc in the CD changer
KXJ: Track down
CDS; Track up
Play
□: Stop
<Xl: Skip backward
[4>; Skip forward
E3; Pause
Opens/closes the disc tray
4), 1 to 9, +10: Numeric keys
RANDOM: Random playback
