Training Mode

Simple, interval, and heart rate

workouts are replaced each time you

create a workout of the same type.

Advanced workouts must be created

in Garmin Training Center.
noTe: While performing a

workout, tap the bezel to view more

data pages.
When you complete all steps in your

workout, the “Workout Finished”

message appears.

Ending a Workout Early

Heart Rate Workouts

noTe: To use heart rate workouts,

you must have a heart rate monitor

and you must enable your heart rate

monitor (

page 31

).

You can use the device to train using

a specific heart rate zone or a custom

range of beats per minute (bpm). The

type and duration settings function

the same as a simple workout.
