Using AE Lock

If [10. AF/AE-L Button] in the [A Custom Setting 2] menu is set to [AE
Lock], you can press the =/L button to lock the exposure
value. (p.108)
Example) If the shutter speed is 1/125 sec. and aperture is F5.6 and

these settings are locked with the =/L button, the
aperture automatically changes to F11 if the shutter speed
is changed to 1/30 sec. with the e-dial.

Action in a Mode

You can set the function of the |
(Green) button when the camera is set to
a

mode. Set in [Green Button] of the

[A Rec. Mode 4] menu. (This operation
is available only when [Green Button] is
assigned to the | (Green) button.

P LINE

Adjusts the aperture value and shutter speed to obtain the
proper exposure according to the Program Line. (default
setting)

Tv SHIFT

Adjusts the shutter speed while the aperture value remains
fixed to obtain the proper exposure.
