Table B-2: BIOS Main Setup Menu

B.3 Advanced Setup

Select the Advanced tab from the setup screen to enter the
Advanced BIOS Setup screen. You can select any of the items in
the left frame of the screen, such as SuperIO Configuration, to go
to the submenu for that item. Display an Advanced BIOS Setup
option by highlighting it using the < Arrow > keys. The Advanced
BIOS Setup options are as follows.

System
Management

Includes manufacturing information and runtime
statistics

Item

Detail

Holdoff Timer

Delay setting for PCIe discovery in seconds

Launch PXE
OpROM

Enables or disables legacy network device (default is
Disabled)

Launch Storage
OpROM

Enables/disables the option for Legacy Mass Storage
Devices with option ROM (default is Enabled)

PCIe Performance

Enable or disable the EIST/Turbo/C-state (default is
disabled)

CPU

Displays processor type, speed, system bus speed, etc.

Memory

Displays memory type, speed, voltage rail, etc.

Graphics

Displays VBIOS version, and graphic memory setting

SATA Configuration Sets SATA mode and enables/disables SATA controller

USB Configuration

Provides USB support and lists the devices attached to
the USB port (keyboard, mouse, and one hub)

PCI and PCIe

PCI and PCIe related setting, including enable the 4G
memory space supporting for peripheral module

Hardware Health
Configuration

Displays voltages and temperatures on the controller

ACPI and Power

Management

Power management related setting, including ACPI
mode and power-up mode

Clock

Enable or disable spread spectrum clock for PCIe
reference clock (default is disabled)

Thermal

Controller thermal protection setting.
