Lector User´s Manual

Bandwidth

-100...+100%

Controls the width of the synthesis bands. Negative values
increase the width of the bands while positive values
decrease the width. The default value of 0 is
recommended for best vocoding results.

Modulation

The Synthesis filter bank offers a LFO for modulating the
Low

and High Offset parameter.

Modulation Active

On / Off

Switches the modulation on or off. The switch lights red
when activated.

Low Modulation

-100...+100%

This parameter adjusts the amount of LFO modulation for
the Low Offset position. The higher the value, the wider
the modulation width. Lower setting adds a negative
modulation.

w

A LFO modulation of the Low Offset parameter is
shown in the lower half of the Filter bank display.

High Modulation

-100...+100%

This parameter adjusts the amount of LFO modulation for
the High Offset position. The higher the value, the wider
the modulation width. Lower setting adds a negative
modulation.

w

A LFO modulation of the High Offset parameter is
shown in the lower half of the Filter bank display.

w

By using the LFO for modulation, you can get a more
natural, dynamic sound. For a more robotic sound,
do not engage the LFO.

LFO Shape

Diverse

Sets the type of waveform for the LFO. The following
shapes are available:

Triangle is perfect for smooth pitch or filter
modulations.

Even Sine is suited for smooth pitch or filter
modulations.

Square can be interesting for hard modulations or
special effects.

Sawtooth can generate interesting filter changes.
