Traction Control System (TCS)
Warning Light

If the traction control
warning light comes on
and stays on, there may be
a problem with the
traction control system.

The traction control warning light will come on briefly
when you turn the ignition to ON. If it does not come on
then, have it fixed so it will be ready to warn you if
there is a problem. See Traction Control System (TCS)
on page 4-8 for more information.

Traction Control System Active Light

This light will appear when
the traction control system
is limiting wheel spin.
You may feel or hear
the system working,
but this is normal.

Slippery road conditions may exist if this message
appears, so adjust your driving accordingly.

The message will stay on for a few seconds after
the traction control system stops limiting wheel spin.
See Traction Control System (TCS) on page 4-8
for more information.

Engine Coolant Temperature Gage

This gage shows the engine coolant temperature. If the
gage pointer moves into the red area, the light comes
on and you hear a chime, your engine is too hot!
It means that your engine coolant has overheated.
See Engine Overheating on page 5-22.
