Step 1. To remove the OEM exhaust system begin
by un-fastening the flange located behind the
catalytic converter and disengaging all welded
hangers from the rubber insulators. Do not damage
or discard the rubber insulators or fasteners as they
will be re-used to mount the new system. Working
front to rear remove the exhaust from the vehicle
.
Step 2. Begin installation of the new system by
fastening the Inlet Pipe Assembly to the catalytic
converter outlet using the OEM fasteners and
inserting the hanger into the rubber insulator (Leave
all clamps and fasteners loose for final adjustment
of the complete system).
Step 3. Next Install the Muffler Assembly to the
Inlet Pipe using the supplied 2.00" clamp. Insert
hangers into rubber insulators.
