Note 1 These figures were measured for A and B versions. For C and D versions, the
90dB range is not available, while all other ranges will be similar.

Reference Information Required by IEC 651 and 804
(section numbers relate to IEC 651 section 11.2)
1. A 35mV/Pa condenser microphone type CEL-186 is required
(or 80mV/Pa type CEL-190 for C and D models) and should
be screwed no more than finger-tight to the end of the pream-
plifier.
2. The reference direction of incidence is perpendicular to the
microphone diaphragm.
