To launch the Device Manager on Windows 7 systems, launch the Start menu, enter
device manager in the Search programs and files field, and press the Enter key.


To open the Device manager on earlier Windows systems, navigate via the following path:


Start → Control Panel → System → Hardware → Device Manager → Ports (COM&
LPT) .
