6. Insert the hard disk module into the slot until it is fully inserted.
7. Tighten the two thumb screws of the hard disk module.
8. Take all necessary steps in your operating system to make the hard disk operable
(the step depend on the OS you are using).

Installing and Removing the RTM
The RTM must be installed into a ATCA system without a zone 3 midplane.

Inserting the Hard Disk Module
The RTM provides support for basic hot swap, that means it can be installed, removed and
replaced in a powered system. However, after the RTM is installed or replaced in a powered
system the front blade has to be rebooted so that the OS can recognize the SAS controller
or other PCI devices located on the RTM.
