Message Description/Action
Host Error:
Buffer Overflow This message indicates one of
the following:
•
There is no flow control and
the packets sent are too
large.
If you select no flow control,
you should send small
packets. Also, the printer
should be ready (but not
printing).
•
There is a flow control
mismatch.
Make sure the printer and
host flow control settings
match (both are DTR or both
are Xon/Xoff). If the
message persists, call
Monarch Service.
Host Error:
Framing The printer cannot communicate
with the host computer.
Make sure
•
the computer is On
•
you have connected the
communications cables
correctly
•
the communications
parameters on the printer
match the host computer
parameters
•
communications are active.
Then re-transmit the data.
