4. MPCL Error Codes
The printer displays an error message when the file you are
trying to download contains an error. For example, you may
see:
Barcode
Line nn Code nn
The second line of the message contains an MPCL error code
(
Code nn where nn represents the error code number). The
error code tells you which data item in the file is incorrect. This
section lists the MPCL error codes and their definition.
There are five types of error codes. Each type depends on the
kind of record containing the error. For information about
correcting the error, refer to your
System Administrator’s Guide.

001 ID number
003 Device storage
004 Supply length
005 Supply width
