Setting the Balance between each channel by using the test tone
Select the test tone mode by
pressing [√
√/» »] button.
A hiss noise comes out for 2 seconds from
each speakers in the following order;
FL (Front Left) ➝ CT (Center) ➝ FR (Front
Right) ➝ SL (Surround Left) ➝ WF
(Subwoofer) ➝ SR (Surround Right) ➝ ...

Adjust the sound level the same way as described in ÒSetting
the sound level of the desired channelÓ above, so that all the
speakerÕs sound level is same from the listenerÕs position.
During operating the test tone, if you adjust the sound level, it will be paused
in the current speaker channel.

■ In Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic mode by using the test tone function you can
easily adjust the sound balance of the speakers from the listenerÕs position in DVD
initial setup mode. (speaker setup)
