• This heating pad is not intended for use by persons (including children) with restricted physi-

cal, sensory or mental capabilities and/or by persons lacking the required understanding of

the equipment and how it is used, unless they are supervised by a person who is responsible

for their safety.

• This heating pad should not be used with persons who are helpless, small children or perso-

ns insensitive to heat (e.g. diabetics, persons with skin changes related to illness or persons

with scarred skin in the area where the pad is to be applied, after taking any pain-relieving

medication or alcohol).

• Excessively long use can cause the skin to be burned.

• Caution! Never fall asleep while the heating pad is switched on.

• Do not apply the heating pad to parts of the body which are inflamed, injured or swollen. If in

doubt, seek medical advice before use.

• Do not use the herb inserts if you have a known hypersensitivity or allergy to the herbs listed

under point 2. If you have any doubts, seek advice from a medical professional before use.

• The electric and magnetic fields emitted by this heating pad can interfere with the operation

of pacemakers. However, they are far below the permissible limits: electric field strength:

5,000 V/m max., magnetic field strength: 80 A/m max., magnetic flux density: 0.1 millitesla

max. Therefore, please consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before

using this heating pad.

• Heating pad

– only connect to the voltage specified on the appliance,

– only use in conjunction with switch types specified on the heating pad,

– never operate without supervision,

– never switch on when folded or compressed,

– never wedge between objects,

– never make any sharp creases,

– never use with animals,

– never use when damp.

• When in use, the electronic components in the switch of the heating pad make the switch

slightly warm. The switch should therefore never be covered or placed on the heating pad

when it is being operated.

• Do not pull, twist or make any sharp kinks in the cables.

• Do not stick pins or pointed objects into this heating pad.

• This appliance may not be used by children unless the switch has been preset by a parent or

a supervisory person, or the child has been sufficiently instructed in how to use this heating

pad safely.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not use the heating pad as a toy.

• Please check this heating pad frequently for signs of wear and tear or damage. If there are

signs indicating the above or if this heating pad was used improperly, it must be returned to

the manufacturer or retailer before further use.

• If the mains connection cable of this heating pad is damaged, it must be replaced by the ma-

nufacturer, its customer service department or a similarly qualified person to avoid any risk.

• Repairs may only be carried out by specially trained personnel or at an authorised repair

workshop, as special tools are required. Incorrect repairs may cause considerable danger to

the user.
