For either of the AUPC modes selected, the lower line of the menu changes as follows:


Select either TARGET-EbNo/RANGE or ALARM ACTION using the [

][] arrow keys

then press [ENT].

Edit the target Eb/No of the remote modem. The default value is 3.0 dB, and upper limit is 14.9 dB.
Then, edit the maximum permitted increase in power level when in AUPC mode. The default value
is 1dB, and upper limit is 14.9 dB. Press [ENT] when done.

Use the [

][] arrow keys to select the MAX TX PWR ACTION parameter (on the top line of

the display), then use the [

][] arrow keys to select NONE or Tx ALARM to determine the action

that will occur if the AUPC causes the maximum output power level to be reached.

Next, use the [

][] arrow keys to select the REM DEMOD UNLOCK ACT parameter (on the

bottom line of the display), then use the [

][] arrow keys to select NOM-PWR or MAX-PWR to

determine the action that will occur if the remote demod is unlocked:

• When NOM-PWR (Nominal Power) is selected, the output level will revert to the nominal

power level set under MANUAL

• When MAX-PWR (Maximum Power) is selected, the ouput level will change to the

maximum power level permitted under MANUAL.

Press [ENT] when done.
