Parallel Port
The 25-pin connector is used to connect an external parallel port. The parallel port connects
your PC to a parallel printer. It supports SPP, ECP and EPP.
SPP
(Standard Parallel Port)
Allows normal speed operation but in one
direction only.
ECP
(Extended Capabilities Port)
Allows parallel port to operate in bidirectional
mode and at a speed faster than the SPP’s data
transfer rate.
EPP
(Enhanced Parallel Port)
Allows bidirectional parallel port operation at
maximum speed.

Parallel
The 1-channel I 2 C bus interface conforms to the version 2.1 I 2 C bus specification. It operates
as a master or slave device and supports a multi-master bus.
