Troubleshooting Table
S YMPTOM P OSSIBLE C AUSE
Trailer binds when
turning. ⇒ Grease and adjust the Tow Hitch (see Chapter 4: Maintaining the DR 1/2 TON VERSA TRAILER).
Bed does not sit on the
Frame when lowered. ⇒ Be sure the Bed is centered.
Tailgates do not stay
latched when
transporting the Trailer
over rough terrain. ⇒ Adjust the Tailgate Latches (see Chapter 3: Operating the DR 1/2 TON VERSA TRAILER).
Tow Hitch is difficult to
connect or disconnect
from the Tow Ball. ⇒ Ensure the Tow Ball is a 2" Ball.
⇒ Grease and adjust the Tow Hitch (see Chapter 4: Maintaining the DR 1/2 TON VERSA TRAILER).
Shut down the Tow Vehicle Engine and apply the Parking Brake before performing any maintenance procedure or inspection on
the DR 1/2 TON VERSA TRAILER.
