3.5 Calibration

Press the <CAL> button.

Press <ENTER> to start the calibration.

Insert your blank and press <ENTER>. The DQ300
will average the fluorescence of the blank for
5 seconds.

Insert the calibration standard and press <ENTER>.
The DQ300 will average the fluorescence of the
standard for 5 seconds.

Press <ENTER> when the calibration is complete to
accept the calibration. If <ENTER> is not pressed
within 10 seconds, you will be asked if you want to
abort the calibration. Press the <UP> or <DOWN>
button to abort or accept the calibration, respectively.
If at any time during steps 1–4 you want to stop
the calibration, press <ESC>. The display will
return to the Home Screen and default back to
the previous calibration.
Note: If using the Minicell
adaptor, be sure to insert it in
the correct position (see 1.3.5
on page 4).
