The cooker hood must be placed at a minimum distance of
50 cm from the cooking plane for electric cookers and 75cm
for gas or mixed cookers.

The hood is equipped with a top air outlet B for discharge
of fumes to the outside (Ducting version – exhaust pipe
and pipe fixing clamps not provided).
Should it not be possible to discharge cooking fumes and
vapour to the outside, the hood can be used in the filter
version
, fitting an activated carbon filter, fumes and vapours
are recycled.

Preliminary information for installation of the hood:
Expansion plugs are provided to secure the hood to most
types of ceilings. However, a qualified technician must
verify suitability of the materials in accordance with the type
of ceiling. The ceiling must be strong enough to take the
weight of the hood.
Disconnect the hood during electrical connection, by turning
the home mains switch off.
Remove the grease filters.
1. Determine the point to fix the cooker hood’s bracket support

frame.
Provide for the electrical connection.

2. Drill 4 holes for the 4 wall screw anchors.
3. Drill a hole on the ceiling for passing the discharge tube

(necessary only for the suction version – use a
discharge tube long enough to reach the discharge
perforation on top of the hood).

4. Insert 4 wall screw anchors.
5. Regulate the extension of the hood’s support structure, the

final height of the cooker hood will depend upon this
regulation, remember that the installed cooker hood must
distance from the cooking area at least 50 cm for electrical
cook tops or 75 cm for gas or mixed cook tops.
Fix the two sections of the structure with a total of 8
s c r e w s .

6. Place the frame support to the ceiling.
7. Fix the frame support with 4 screws.
8. Insert the two chimney sections (the upper section is the

one with the openings).

9. Fix the chimney with two screws.
10.11.12. Hang the cooker hood to the frame support.
1 3 . Insert the safety screw to block the cooker hood to the

frame support.

1 4 . Allow the chimney’s lower section slide into the housing

on top of the cooker hood.

1 5 . Fix the bottom section of the chimney to the hood using

7 screws.

Refit the grease filter/s and check that the hood is operating
correctly.

Electrical connection

The electrical tension must correspond to the tension noted
on the label placed inside the cooker hood. Connect the
electrical plug, where provided, to the an easily accessible
outlet in conformity with local standards in force.
Where an electrical plug is not provided (for direct connection
to electrical network) place a standards approved bipolar
switch with an aperture distance of not less than 3mm
(accessible) from the contacts.
