Camera without integrated flash unit

Controller/Master

Camera with integrated flash unit

• Mount future controller flash unit on camera

(flash unit may not be manually switched to slave mode!)

• Set camera to “WL” mode
• Press the shutter release

- the flash unit switches automatically to “CTRL “

Instructions:

If the flash unit does not switch to “CTRL ”, but to “SLAVE” instead, then the camera does not support the controller function of the external flash
unit.

Setting remote mode:
The remote mode „CTRL “ supports the slave groups RMT and RMT 2 and the controller function M (Master). The selection of the settings for these functions is
made with the "Para" key. To do so, press the “Para” key repeatedly until the symbol for the desired function is displayed. The desired mode can now be set
with the “Mode” key. The setting is immediately effective and automatically saved. The light conditions in the remote system can then also be set (see “General”).

• Press the "SEL" key repeatedly until "Select" appears on the display.
• Use the UP

̆ and DOWN ̄ keys to select the menu item "Remote". The selected menu item will be highlighted with a dark bar.

• Press the "Set" key to confirm the selection of "Remote"..
• Use the UP

̆ and DOWN ̄ keys to select "Remote Slave" or "Remote OFF" to deactivate Remote Mode. The setting will take effect immediately.

• Press "Return"

repeatedly until SLAVE appears on the display. If the "Return"

key is not pressed, the display will automatically switch back to SLAVE

after approx. 5 seconds.

• The slave flash unit then automatically recognises the function “CTRL” or “CTRL “.

In the “CTRL ” mode, the slave flash units can work in two slave groups “RMT” and “RMT2”. The light conditions can be set. The controller flash unit
(master) on the camera assumes the control.
