Correcting for the Sever Tool Bit
Loosen the Set Screws holding Tool Bits A, D, and E.
Push Tool Bit A back flush with the ends of Tool Bits D and E, which are in contact
with the cut edges made by Tool Bits B and C.
Tighten the Set Screws holding Tool Bits A, D, and E.
Rotate the Feed Sprocket of Tool Block No. 2 clockwise so as to move the Tool
Holder away from the pipe cut far enough so that Tool Bits B and C will not cut
during this recovery sequence.
During this recovery sequence, the only Tool Bits that are to be cutting are
Tool Bits D and E so that they may catch up to the bevel made by Tool Bits
B and C.
All other Tool Bits must be pulled back from the cutting surface.
When a blend has been achieved, Tool Bit A must be returned to its original
position so that the desired land may be cut.
