7.1 Operating modes
RS-485 repeater
This operating mode is used to extend /
increase number of loads on a 2-wire
(RS-485) bus.
RS-422 repeater
This operating mode is used to extend /
increase number of loads on a 4-wire
(RS-422) bus.
RS-422/485 converter
This operating mode is used to convert
between 2- (RS-485) and 4-wire (RS-422)
communication.
