off. This is a hot cut to a new source, without a preview. The PGM PST
M/E status display will report
<Src 1> for background bus A and Black
for the other buses.
3. Press Pgm Pst on the Preview subpanel above the PGM PST bank
( Figure 257 ). This makes the switched preview monitor display the
PGM PST preview output, which is currently Black.

4. Press the <Src 2> button on the PGM PST B bus. That source will appear
on the preview monitor. Its source button will go low tally, indicating it
has only been selected. The M/E status display will report
<Src 2> for
background bus B, with <Src 1> still reported for background bus A.
This selects the next source to be used for a transition, and the end result
of the transition appears on the preview monitor.
