Section 4 — System Cabling
Control Surface Cabling
The cabling between Panel Control Unit PCU and Control Panel has to be
made as shown in
Figure 50 on page 71 .
Special proprietary cables are required.
• The cable to the Control Panel Stripes contains one power pair and two
serial communication pairs.
• The cable to the Menu Panel (first and second) contains one power pair
and four serial communication pairs.
The cables are available with a lenghs of 7.5 m or 15 m.
Assignment of Panel Stripe Connectors
During installation the assignment of the panel stripe connectors (Port 0 ...
8) to the Control panel Sripes has to be observed. Ths assignment is shown
in
Figure 51 on page 72 .
