6. Start the Media Manager program and verify the presence of a Library
System icon in the Media Manager tree pane.
7. Right-click the Library icon, then click Properties in the shortcut menu that
appears. For a DST 312, the dialog box lists the tape drive but leaves the
manufacturer and version blank. For a DST 412, the dialog box lists the
manufacturer (Ampex) and a version number.

tape system and your automation system to further verify the operation of the tape
system.
