CONTROL PARTS AND FUNCTIONS
Steering Lock
There is a steering lock (1) lo-
cated on the right side of the
steering head. To lock the steer-
ing, turn the handlebars all the
way to the left. Open the steer-
ing lock cover, push the key in-
ward and turn it 1/8 turn counter-
clockwise. Remove the key
from the lock and close the cov-
er. To unlock the steering, turn
the key to the original position.
It may be necessary to turn the
handlebars slightly to the left or
right to relieve pressure on the
steering lock pin.
WARNING: Operation of
the vehicle with the steering
locked could cause an upset re-
sulting in injury or death. Never
push or operate your motor-
cycle with the steering locked.
