MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION
Tire Inspection
Tire Tread Depth
Always replace tires when tread
depth is worn to 1/8″ (.3 cm) or
less. Please refer to pages 111
and 113 for your vehicle’s
specifications.
Axle and Wheel Nut Torque Specifications
The following items should be checked occasionally for tightness; or if
they have been loosened for maintenance service.

Front Wheel Nuts
35 Ft. Lbs.
Center and Rear Hub
Retaining Nut(s)
120 Ft. Lbs.
Rear Wheel Nuts
35 Ft. Lbs.
Operating your vehicle with worn tires will increase the
possibility of the vehicle skidding with possible loss of control.
Worn tires can cause an accident.
Always replace tires when the tread depth measures 1/8″ (.3
cm) or less.
WARNING
CAUTION
Maintain proper tire pressure according to charts below. Improper
tire inflation may affect vehicle maneuverability.
When replacing a tire always use original equipment size and type.
The use of non-standard size or type tires may affect vehicle
handling.
