Description of key commands
The ND supports the XON-XOFF protocol when executing commands:
 As soon as the internal character buffer is full (100 characters), the
ND sends the control character XOFF to the transmitter.
 After the buffer has been executed, the ND sends the control
character XON to the transmitter and is then ready to receive data
again.
