INTRODUCTION

The Remote Keypad Assembly provides the
Remote Display Unit (RDU) with the ability
to have functions initiated by keypresses at
the RDU's location. The required
interconnections are nine signal wires.

HARDWARE DESCRIPTION

CONFIGURATION

The Remote Keypad Assembly consists of a
4 x 5 matrix membrane switch keypad, with
an overlay providing an embossed key
"button" at each key position, set in a bezel
for panel mounting. There are nine square
pin terminals at the top of the back of the
assembly for wiring.

POWER REQUIREMENTS

The Remote Keypad Assembly does not
require any input power.

REMOTE DISPLAY UNIT INTERCONNECT
The square pin terminals on the back of the
Remote Keypad Assembly will accept wiring
either by wire wrap technique or by use of a
mating 10-pin female connector, with one
end pin position not used. The matrix
assignment for each pin is as follows:

Refer to the User Reference Sheet for the
RDU for required wiring connections.
