 To assemble the two parts of the
trimmer, align the ribs in the motor
housing with the slots in the handle.
Then insert the motor housing into the
hole of the handle.
 To disconnect the two parts, press the
two spring buttons in the motor housing
and pull out the handle.
7.2 Guard assembly
 Place the guard over the knife holder on your trimmer and push it into the underside of the
body as indicated by arrow A (above).
 Now turn the guard in the direction of arrow B until the guard is secured. When the edges
on the guard have slotted into the body and the spring finger has been located: insert the
screw through the guard into the machine where hole is situated and tighten the screw.
Warning! Never use the trimmer without the guard. This guard is essential
for safety and for the correct operation of the tool.
