9.2 Switching On and Off (fig. H)
 Press and hold the unlock button.
 Press the power ON/OFF button.
 Release the unlock button
Attention! Rotating string! Tool is still running!
 Release the ON/OFF switch
9.3 Trimming Edges
Guide the trimmer along the edge of the
lawn. Do not allow the cutting line to contact
paved surfaces, stones or garden walls,
since this will wear the line rapidly.
The lawn trimmer is in its trimming edge
function when the handle is rotated over
180°.
9.4 Plant protector (10) (Fig I)
Always use the plant protector bar.
Cutting around trees and bushes (Fig L)
 Carefully cut around trees and bushes so that they do not come into contact with the
cutting line.
 Plants can die if you damage the bark.
10 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Attention ! Before performing any work on the equipment, remove the
battery from the machine.
10.1 Cleaning
 Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent overheating of the engine.
 Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use.
 If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.
Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These
solvents may damage the plastic parts.
10.2 Maintenance
Note: To ensure long and reliable service, carry out the following maintenance regularly.
 Regularly check for obvious defects such as loose fixings, and worn or damaged
components.
 Check that covers and guards are undamaged and correctly fitted.
 Carry out necessary maintenance or repairs before using.
10.3 Replacing the cord spool (fig. J)
