end of the sawing process.

Dust collector

 Always hold the workpiece against the saw blade and do not block it.
 Do not try to stop the turning of the saw blade, by pressing the workpiece against the side

of the saw blade. A risk of injuries can occur, if the saw blade is blocked.

11.2.6

Sawing

HAZARD! Always use a push block, if the distance D of the workpiece is
less than 120 mm.

 The front edge of the saw blade guard must rest on the workpiece.
 If necessary, install the mitre and width guide, and make sure that the locking screw points

in the operator's direction.

 Set the mitre and width guide to the desired sawing width. Check on both scales of the

upper saw blade that the mitre and width guide has been set parallel to the saw blade.

Start the saw blade by pushing the green switch into the “ON” position.

 Push the workpiece slowly towards the back and saw it in one single and flowing

movement.

 If further sawing is not immediately required, then turn the machine off by pushing the red

switch into the “OFF” position.

12 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Attention! Before performing any work on the equipment, pull the power
plug.

12.1

Cleaning

 Keep the ventilation slots of the tool clean to prevent overheating of the engine.
 Regularly clean the tool housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use.
 Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt.
 If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.

Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These
solvents may damage the plastic parts.

12.2

Maintenance

 Our tools have been designed to operate over a long period of time with a minimum of

maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool care and
regular cleaning.

12.2.1

For all maintenance works

Switch the machine “OFF”

 Remove the plug from the socket
 Wait until the machine has come to a complete standstill
Repair and maintenance works may only be carried out by trained specialists, with the
exception of those described in this chapter.
Replace defective parts, especially defective safety facilities. Parts that have not been tested
and approved by the manufacturer can lead to unforeseen damages.
