General notes on safety

• The device must not be used by people

(including children) with limited physical,

sensory or mental faculties or who lack

the necessary experience and/or knowl-

edge - other than they are supervised

by a person responsible for safety or are

being instructed to operate the trimmer

by such a person.

• Keep the equipment away from children

and pets. Children must be supervised

in order to ensure that they do not play

with the equipment.

• Never allow children or other persons

unfamiliar with the user manual to use

the shredder. Local regulations or by-

laws may determine the minimum age

for using the shredder.

Preparation:

• Never use the shredder with other per-

sons or animals nearby.

• Wear hearing and eye protection at all

cords or belts.

• Only use the shredder in the open (that

is, away from walls or other rigid struc-

tures) on a firm, level surface.
