Cleaning the filters (13, 14), the dust bin (5) flask

Holding the dust bin (5) by the handle press the
button (9) and remove the dust bin (5) from the unit
body holding the vacuum cleaner by the handle
(10) (pic. 4).

Remove the inlet foam filter (13) from the unit body.

Place the dust bin (5) above the garbage bin. Open
the lower lid of the dust bin flask by pressing the lid
clamp (3). Remove accumulated dust and waste
from the dust bin (5) (pic. 6).

Open the upper lid of the dust bin by pulling the lid
clamp (7) and remove the outlet filter (14) (pic. 7).

Close the upper lid of the dust bin (5) by pulling the
lid clamp (7).

Wash the filters (13 and 14) under warm water jet
and dry them thoroughly.

Install the inlet foam filter (13) back to its place.

Take the dust bin (5) by the handle and rotate it
counterclockwise in the direction of the symbol
holding the dust bin by the flask. Remove the dust-
bag (15) from the dust bin (5) flask, wash it under
warm water jet and dry it.

Wash the dust bin (5) flask under warm water jet
and then dry it.

Install the dustbag (15) into the dust bin (5) flask
matching the corresponding guidelines of the dust-
bag (15) with the grooves inside the flask, hold the
flask and turn the dust bin handle clockwise in the
direction of the symbol (pic. 8) until locking.

Note: Note that when you’re installing the dustbag
(15) the symbols
/ on the dust bin (5) flask should
be on the button (9) side.

Open the upper lid of the dust bin (5) by pulling the
lid clamp (7) and install the outlet filter (14).

Cleaning the brush block (1)

It is also recommended to clean the roller brush as
it becomes dirty. To do this remove the brush block
(1) by pressing the button (2) and pulling the unit
body upwards (pic. 2), slightly press on the brush
block (1) with your foot to keep it on the floor.

Turn the brush block (1) upside down. Insert a coin
or a flat head screwdriver into the roller brush lock
(16) groove and turn it in the direction of the sym-
bol . Remove the roller brush lock (16) from the
brush block (1) and remove the roller brush (17)
(pic. 9).

Clean the roller brush (17).

Note: Do not wash the roller brush (17) with water.

After cleaning install the roller brush (17) back to
its place and install the lock (16). Insert a coin or a
flat head screwdriver into the roller brush lock (16)
groove and turn it in the direction of the symbol .

Vacuum cleaner body

Clean the vacuum cleaner body with a soft, slightly
damp cloth and then wipe it dry.

Do not immerse the body of the vacuum cleaner,
the power cord and the power plug of the unit into
water or any other liquids. Provide that no liquid
gets inside the vacuum cleaner body.

Never use solvents or abrasives to clean the sur-
face of the vacuum cleaner.

STORAGE
The vertical vacuum cleaner VT-8103 occupies very
little space due to its upright configuration. Its width
and length are only 27 and 21 cm respectively. Special
cord storage hooks on the unit body and the clip on the
handle (10) secure the cord properly and do not allow it
to fall down and unwind.

Before taking the vacuum cleaner away for long
term storage, clean its body, the dust bin (5) flasks,
the dustbag (15), the filters (13, 14) and the brush
block (1).

Keep the vacuum cleaner away from children in a
dry cool place.
