Allow the lamp to cool for at least 15 minutes
before replacing a defective bulb.

DANGER OF FIRE! Always ensure
that there is at least 0.3 m clear dis-
tance between the lamp and other

items of furniture or furnishings.

Do not allow any objects to cover the lamp.
Fire can result from the development of too
much heat.

Position the lamp so that it is protected from
moisture and dirt.

Never leave the light unattended whilst in oper-
ation. Excessive heat can result in a fire.

Only use the light bulb indicated.

Do not look directly into the light source (light
bulb, LED etc.).

This lamp is not suitable for use as a night light.

Before Initial Use

Loosen the nut

from the lamp head

by

turning it anti-clockwise (fig. B).

Pull the lamp shade

over the lamp head

(fig. C).

Tightly screw the nut

clockwise back on to

the lamp head

(fig. D).

Use a clean, lint-free cloth to insert the lamp.
Screw the light bulb

bulb socket (fig. E).

Your light is now ready to use.

Operation

Using the lamp

Always ensure that there is at least 30 cm clear
distance between the lamp and other items of
furniture or furnishings.

Unwind the mains cable

completely before

use.

Insert the mains plug

Turn the light on and off with the ON / OFF

switch

Replacing a bulb

CAUTION! DANGER TO LIFE BY ELEC-

TRIC SHOCK! Unplug the mains plug

the socket.

Allow the lamp to cool down for 15 minutes

before replacing.

Turn the defective light bulb

Use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you are re-
placing a bulb.

Screw the light bulb

Cleaning and maintenance

CAUTION! DANGER TO LIFE FROM

ELECTRIC SHOCK! Before cleaning, always pull
out the mains plug

out of the socket.

Do not use solvents such as petrol and the like
as they could damage the lamp.

For electrical safety reasons, never clean the
lamp with water or other fluids or immerse it in
water.

Only clean with a dry, lint-free cloth, a brush or

a feather duster.

The lamp is maintenance-free.

Disposal

The packaging consists entirely of envi-
ronmentally friendly materials. They can
be disposed of at your local recycling

facility.

The symbol of the wheelie bin with a
cross through It means that, in the
European Union, the product has to be

disposed of in a separate refuse collection. This ap-
plies to the product and to all components bearing
this symbol. Products marked in this way may not
be disposed of with normal domestic waste but
have to be handed in at a recycling collection point
