Attaching the mounting clips

We recommend using the enclosed screws
and rawlplugs for the installation. If you
wish to attach the light to a plasterboard
wall, you will need to use specially
designed cavity fixing rawlplugs. If you are
unsure as to which fixings will be sufficient,
consult a specialist.

 Drill two holes using a 6mm drill bit.

The holes must be 110cm apart from
each other.

 Insert the rawlplugs (3) into the drilled

holes.

 Insert the screws (2) through the holes

in the assembly clips (1) and screw
them firmly into the rawlplugs.

 Rotate the mounting clips so that the

openings are positioned in the same
direction.

 Carefully place the light on to the clips

until the housing is surrounded.

Take care as the light will become

warm when it is in use.

If you wish to remove the light from

the clips (e.g. in order to clean it)
ensure that the clips are still stable. In
any case retighten the screws.

Installing with the Stand

 Lay the upper section (5) of the stand

crossways over the lower section (6) of
the stand. Make sure that the upper
section of the stand has a higher
shape than the lower section. The
upper and lower sections should not
be assembled the other way round.
The holes in the base sections must
coincide with one another.

 Insert one of the fixing screws (4) from

below through one of the two holes.

 Hold the tube holder (7) with the

perforated underside against the
screw. Tighten the screw in the tube
holder with a suitable screwdriver.

 Turn the second fixing screw (4)

through the other hole in the stand and
also in the tube holder.

 Position the assembled stand upright

and place the light with the mains lead
downwards in the stand. There is a
recess specially for the mains lead in
the tube holder. Thread the mains lead
through this recess until the light is
fixed firmly in the light stand.

Take care as the light will become

warm when it is in use.

Turning on / off

Use the on / off switch (8) to turn the light
on and off.

The light is equipped with a quick

start so that it comes on directly after
being switched on. It does not flicker
like conventional fluorescent tubes.

Cleaning

Allow the light to cool down before

cleaning.

To clean the light use a dry cloth and never
use any solvent or cleaner that would
corrode the material. Ensure that no liquid
enters the housing. Use a damp cloth for
more stubborn dirt.
