This product is not a toy and should be kept
out of the reach of children. Children are not
aware of the dangers associated with handling
electrical products.



Do not use the article if you detect any kind of
damage.



CAUTION! DANGER OF EX-

PLOSION! Do not operate the lamp
in potentially explosive environments

in which there are inflam mable vapours, gases
or dusts.



The top side of the lamp can get very hot. Switch
the lamp off and let it cool down before touching
the housing.



Avoid overheating and the risk of fire. Keep the
product at least 0.10 m away from combustible
materials.



Make sure that the input voltage of the lamp
complies with the voltage prescribed for the
illuminant (230 V ~).



Do not use the product if it is damaged. Do not
repair the lead wire. Make sure that the lamp
cannot be used if the lead wire is damaged. To
do so, disconnect the lamp from the connecting
cable and inform the other occupants that the
lamp may not be used until it has been repaired
by a professional.



Damage arising from improper use or non-com-
pliance of the assembly or safety instructions is
not covered by the guarantee / warrantee. This
also applies to repairs carried out by non-
authorised personnel.



Only use the parts supplied or described in the
assembly instructions. The parts may only be
used for their designated purpose.



The lamp has a splash-proof housing (IP 44). The
housing is not protected against lots of water
such as being sprayed with a garden hose.

 CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Before you start drilling, make sure that there
are no cables where you wish to drill.

 CAUTION! WATER DAMAGE! Before

drilling, make sure there are no pipes in the
place where you wish to drill.



Installation may only be carried out by a pro-
fessional.



CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!

Broken safety glass must be replaced
before any further use is made of

the

lamp.



Installation

 CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Before assembling and installing the lamp,
make sure that the connecting cable is dead,
i.e. not live. To do so, remove the fuse or move
the switch of the fuse in your sub-distribution to
“0“. Check that the connection cable is dead.

Note:

If you have any questions concerning

the installation, please seek the advice of an
electrical equipment specialist.



Make sure that the input voltage of the lamp is
230 V ~ and the cross section of the flex is at

least 1.5 mm

Note: You will need a drill for the assembly work.

 CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Consult the

directions for use that came with your drill.



When connecting the light, ensure correct polarity.
The following symbols must be complied with:
L: Live conductor (brown cable)

: Earthed wire (yellow-green cable)

N: Neutral conductor (blue cable)

Observe the following points during installation:



Assemble the lamp in accordance with Figures A - I.

must be correctly inserted.

Only in this way can an effective seal against
rainwater be ensured.



The hole on the outer edge of the device for wall
mounting

must point downwards. Otherwise

water can enter the light.

Note: After switching the lamp on for the first time,
the motion detector goes through a “warm-up phase”.
This takes a few minutes. During this “warm-up phase”
the light will remain switched on. After the light
goes out, the setting-up procedure can continue.
