Never leave children unsupervised with the
packaging materials or the device. There is a
risk of suffocation and loss of life from electric
shock. Children often underestimate the dan-
gers associated with electrical devices. Always
keep the device out of reach of children.

Children or persons who lack the knowledge

or experience to use the device or whose phys-
ical, sensory or intellectual capacities are limit-
ed must never be allowed to use the device
without supervision or instruction by a person
responsible for their safety. Children must never
be allowed to play with the device.

RISk of ExploSIon! This de-
vice gives off heat. Do not use the
device in the neighbourhood of in-

flammable or explosive liquids or gases.

Avoid the danger of
death from electric shock!

Before use, ensure that the mains voltage avail-
able is the same as the required operating volt-
age for the device (230 Volt ~).

Do not immerse the product into water.

Before connecting the device to the mains you
should always check the device and the mains
lead for any damage. A damaged device rep-
resents the danger of death from electric shock.

The mains connection lead cannot be replaced.
Dispose of the device if the mains connection
lead is damaged.

Do not use the device if you find any damage.
Please consult a specialist electrician if you dis-
cover any damage or problems with the de-
vice, or for the performance of repairs to the
device.

Never open any of the electrical equipment or
insert any objects into it. Such interventions rep-
resent the danger of death from electric shock.

Never touch the mains plug with damp or wet
hands.

J

Protect the mains lead against sharp edges,
mechanical stresses and hot surfaces.

The appliance is only suitable for textiles that
have been washed in water.

In order to avoid putting infants and children at
risk, mount the appliance at least 60 cm above
the floor (only applies to wall mounting).

The appliance may not be used in the toilet.

When plugging the appliance in, do not use
any sockets that are exposed to damp or mois-
ture.

Before cleaning the appliance, turn off the
power supply by removing the mains plug from
the socket.

Only use the product indoors.

J

Never place the appliance on surfaces from
which it could fall or tumble into bathtubs or
other water-filled basins.

Make sure that the appliance is at least 0.60 m
away from bathtubs, shower trays and the like
(Fig. K).

The appliance must not be mounted directly
under a socket.

J

Check the condition of the device regularly.

Do not operate the device if:

- you can see any damage,

- the mains plug or lead is damaged,

- if you believe that the device may be damaged,

e.g. after it has been dropped,

- it does not function properly.

Have the device inspected and repaired at the

service centre only.
