ing and safety instructions of your drill.
WARnInG! DAnGER To lIfE! Make sure
that you do not hit electrical cables, gas or water
pipes when you drill into the wall. You may have to
check with a cable locator before you drill into the wall.
j Drill four holes into the wall on which you want
to mount the electric heated towel rail

(ø 7 mm). Before doing so, measure the
distance required on the longitudinal struts of
the towel dryer
16 .
CAUTIon! RISk of InJURY! Consult the
directions for use that came with your drill.
j Insert the decorative caps 12 into the holes for
the base pieces.
j Place the dowels 6 into the boreholes.
j Insert the phillips head self-tapping screws 2
into the retainers 3 and screw them into the
dowels 6 (Fig. A).
j Insert the spacers 4 into the bushings 5 and
screw them tight onto the towel dryer using the
Allen screws
1 (Fig. B).
j Place the electric heated towel rail 16 with the
spacers 4 onto the retainers 3 (ON/OFF-
switch 17 at the bottom) and screw them tight
using the Allen screws 7 (Fig. C).
note: Make sure that the screws have been
tightened and the towel dryer cannot fall down.
This could lead to damage to property or per-
sonal injury.
Q Mounting the base
pieces with casters
j Fix the decorative caps 8 into the holes for
wall assembly using the screws 9 (Fig. D).
note: Parts 10 , 11 and 16 are marked
(“R” for right and “L” for left). Make sure that
the markings match up to one another during
assembly.
j Attach the base pieces 11 and the connecting
pieces 10 to the electric heated towel rail 16
using the Allen screws 1 (Fig. E).
j Place the towel dryer onto a level surface.
note: Never use the electric towel drying
when the brakes are not on (“Free“, Fig. G).
Before switching the appliance on, put the
brakes on the casters on (“Lock“, Fig. H).
Q Before getting started
Before using the appliance for the first time,
check that the power supply corresponds to the
voltage specified on the appliance.
Make sure that no-one can stumble over the
mains cable. Always make sure that the mains
cable goes behind the appliance.
Q Getting started
j Insert the mains plug 13 into a socket.
j Switch the electric heated towel rail 16 on by
switching the ON/OFF switch 17 to the ON
position. The red control light will come on and
the towel dryer will warm up.
j Hang the towels onto the electric heated towel
rail
16 as shown in Figure J.
note: So that the appliance does not overheat,
never hang the towels up so that they overlap
each other (Fig. I).
j Switch the electric heated towel rail 16 off af-
ter using it or when it will not be in use for any
length of time by switching the ON/OFF switch
17 to the OFF position and removing mains
plug from the socket 13 . The red control light
will then go out.
Q Cleaning
J CAUTIon! DAnGER fRoM
ElECTRIC SHoCk! Before clean-
ing, remove the mains plug from the
socket and always allow the appliance to cool
down completely.
j Only clean the outside of the appliance with a
soft, dry cloth.
On no account should you use liquids or deter-
gents as they could damage the appliance.
