Installation

WARNING! Risk of material damage! The camera unit is
exclusively intended for operation in indoor hallways. Humidity
and frost will damage the camera unit.

CAUTION: If you are not sure regarding dismantling or installa-
tion, please use the services of a specialist company.

1. Measure the thickness of your door leaf, which must be be-

tween 42 mm and 72 mm.

2. With an existing door viewer

Remove the existing door viewer. This is usually performed by
simply twisting off the one side and pushing out on the other
side.

or: Drill a new hole

WARNING! Risk of material damage! Always ask your
landlord if you are permitted to drill a hole through the door.
No holes may be drilled into doors with glass inserts. The glass or
the insulation could be damaged.

NOTE: The type of drill depends on the structure of the door.

- You need: machine drill, one 12 mm bit
- Drill a hole at the height at which the monitor is to be fas-

tened. The height should be between 140 cm and 160 cm.

3. Clean the surface. This must be dust and grease free.
4. (Figure A) Remove the mounting plate from the rear of the

monitor 1. For this purpose, use a thin, flat object (e.g. slot
screwdriver) and carefully insert it at the top centre between
the mounting plate and the rear of the device. Then, remove
the mounting plate by levering.
