This product is intended for cutting internal and

external threads. It can cut imperial and metric

threads. Do not use the product or part of the

product as an attachment to electrical devices!

The product is intended to be used as a hand

tool only. Other types of use or product

modifications are not regarded as intended and

may lead to risks such as injuries and damages.

The manufacturer is not liable for any damages

caused by any use other than its intended

purpose. The product is not intended for

Cutting internal threads

(Figure A)

Note: Use cutting oil to reduce the friction

between the workpiece and the tap 3 .

Determine the required thread.

j

Drill a core hole. This must be smaller in

diameter than the required thread (see table

below).

j

Slightly widen the hole at the surface using

a countersink bit (max. 10 % of the thread

diameter at all sides). This will ease the work

of the tap 3 in turning the first threads.

Mount the selected tap 3 in the tap

wrench 4 .
