The UDM45 Ultrasonic Distance Meter conforms to en60825-1 Class 2 and fDA 21 CfR •
1040.10, Class ii laser requirements

Class ii laser Radiation when on, do not stare into the laser beam. •
At the end of its travel, the laser beam should always encounter a diffuse reflection material •
(example: a wooden plank).
Do not direct the beam in the direction of people or animals around you.

inspect the UDM45 before every use. Do not use if damaged. •
Do not operate the instrument in an explosive atmosphere. •
Do not expose this product to rain or moisture. •
To avoid false readings, replace the batteries as soon as the low battery indicator ( •  )
appears.
Dispose properly the bad battery. Do not burn or bury it.
